Cyclists in Soho beat and killed by truck drivers: police officers

A cyclist was hit and killed in Soho in Soho on May 1, 2025 in Soho, the authorities reported.

A cyclist was hit and killed in Soho on Thursday morning, the authorities reported.

According to police sources, a male cyclist drove west on May 1st at 10:13 a.m. near the intersection of Broome and Center Street.

Sources of law enforcement reported that the unidentified cyclist initially hit the open door of a van, which raced him under the crushing wheels of a business car that was driven through the intersection.

Eyewitnesses described the scramble of first aiders to save the life of the cyclist.

“I saw a body on the floor, and then the fireplers tried to revive him. It didn't look good,” an eyewitness that gave his name, as Paul said to Amnewyork. “I saw how they tried to revive the guy and they tore off his shirt and it was terrible.”

The cyclist hurried to the Bellevue Hospital, where he was declared dead. The police have not yet released his identity.

In the meantime, the male truck driver remained at the scene after the collision. So far, no charges have been charged against the person.
