A man from South Jamaica was fatally hit by two vehicles when he walked with a sugar cane in front of his house on Linden Boulevard on the night of April 24th.

The city council's candidate, Japneet Singh, recorded the moment in a video that he posted on his Instagram account.

“It felt as surreal as he had a goal and ran right in front of my own eyes,” he wrote. “I saw an elderly man with a sugar cane passed twice. It was terrible.”

Ems reacted to the scene and hurried to the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead the following day, the police said on Wednesday.

Further investigations by the NYPD collision -Collision -Cholision -Cader of the Highway District Collision squad of the NYPD found that an unidentified black vehicle, which was driven by an unknown driver, drove east on the Linden boulevard as he crossed Gayton when he crossed the cross.

The driver raced out of the scene when a 2024 Ford Edge drove to the east with a 49-year-old man behind the steering wheel on the Linden boulevard and hit Gayton for the second time. The Edge driver stayed at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation remains.
