Pilot, which was killed in Grass Valley in the plane crash, examinations underway

A pilot was killed on Thursday morning when, according to officials, a small plane in the Grass Valley region fell off.

The Grass Valley police authority reported that first aiders were sent to the whisper of Pines Lane near Cambridge Court, where the plane went down. The authorities confirmed that no buildings were hit during the incident.

The road is currently closed in both directions between Idaho Maryland Road and the Centennial Drive, while the officials carry out their investigations.

The Federal Aviation Administration explained that the plane involved was a Cessna 177, a one -engine level, and the pilot was the only inmate on board. The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m.

The FAA said the National Transportation Safety Board would lead to investigating the crash. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

Nevada County Airport is less than 10 minutes away from the crash site.

The Grass Valley is about 90 miles west of Reno along the I-80.
