Daryl Brown Sr. File family on the right death

Tuscaloosa, Ala.-Die family von Daryl Wayne Brown Sr., a 28-year-old experienced veteran Alabama State Trooper, submitted illegal deaths after his death last summer. Brown died on duty on August 8, 2024 in a collision with several vehicles on the I-20/59 in Tuscaloosa County.

The civil lawsuit submitted by Brown's wife Lucille claims negligence and calls several defendants, including Daaron Michael Crooks. Lawyer Blake Williams, who represented the Brown family, said: “As a result of these collisions, the Trooper Brown has wrongly lost his life and his wife and family tore him out of her life.”

Williams said that Crooks was “ruthlessly in a high speed rate” and “tried to change lanes without proper release”, which led to a violent collision with Brown's vehicle. At the time of the crash, Crooks were supposedly intoxicated and has been charged with manslaughter since then.

Other accused in the lawsuit are Eddie Crooks, Luis Remberto Garcia Jr. and Bravo Express Transportation Incorporated. The lawsuit claims that Garcia, a professional truck driver from Bravo Express, followed the Brown vehicle too closely. Williams noticed: “An independent witness on site reported that the tractor trailer never brakes before the impact, which indicates a kind of distraction of the driver.”

The family's lawyers showed that Brown's cause of death was several dull violations of violence on the chest and neck. Attorney Josh Hayes said: “There is simply no amount of money that could ever be granted enough. We will trust the judgment of the Tuscaloosa County Jury. See how the case and we will at some point after considerable punishment.”
