Name published by students who were killed in the event of an accident near the University of Delaware

Newark, del. (WPVI) – The authorities published the names of the Delaware University of Doctor, which was hit and killed at the beginning of this week.

The Newark police said on Thursday that she was 24-year-old Marina Vasconcelos from North East, Maryland.

The driver of the U-Haul van, who met her, 22-year-old Gordon Turner from New Castle, is charged with a second degree murder.

Another 24-year-old doctoral student was also hit, the police said. This student was last reported as a hospital in stable condition.

The crash occurred on Tuesday in the streets of Main and Haines in Newark.

Before the fatal crash, the Newark police said that the U-Haul was discovered on the 200 Block of East Main Street. The van should be returned to a rent system on March 18.

At 4:34 p.m., the police said that Turner and a passenger returned to the vehicle. When the officials arrived, Turner supposedly drove over a curb and hit a police vehicle, then raced onto East Main Street.

The Newark Police Department said the officials had not persecuted the van, and all officials stayed in the shopping center.

Turner allegedly continued to throw East Main Street when the police lost control and hit the two doctoral students.

Videos received from Action News show the van that accelerates down the street.

The van then met several parked cars, including a vehicle with four people inside and another vehicle with one person inside.

The accidents caused a chain reaction in which a third pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle that had been pushed by the impact of the crash.

“This is a terrible tragedy for everyone in our UD community. We speak for the entire university to express our condolences to the families, friends and classmates of the victims and to keep the other members of our community in our thoughts who have seen the crash and consequences,” said the university in a explanation.

After his arrest, the Newark police said that she had learned that Turner was a refugee who was sought by police authorities in the states of Georgia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The police also say that a pistol was found in the U-Haul van. Additional charges may be possible if the examination continues, the police said.

After the affidavit, designer marijuana was found at the scene.

Turner is kept behind bars with 305,500 US dollars.
