Irsay always had the greatest respect for the team and his fans. “But most of the time I am only happy for our fans because they held up to us and we really became an incredible football town and an incredible state in Indiana,” said Irsay, after winning Super Bowl XLI. “I am mainly happy for you because you have inserted a lot of emotional engagement and have secured us so much, and you have the feeling that you want to deliver for you.”

After his death, the football community supported the Irsay family incredibly. His daughters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, were in the minds of many in this difficult time.

Outside of football, Irsay was a generous man who was passionate about helping others in hard situations and ending animal abuse. Its effects will not forget in the life of many.
