Jaylen Brown's knee injury another unknown for Boston Celtics outside of the season

Jaylen Brown alluded to some of the injuries that he endured throughout the season and in the playoffs, but he refused to get into any details. After the Celtics lost to the Knicks in the second round of the playoffs, the extent of Brown's knee injury was unveiled when he played through a partially destroyed meniscus.

Those who saw Brown, the NBA final 2024 MVP, know that he did not look 100% during the playoff run of the Celtics. The burst and the explosiveness were not there when he managed the knee injury weeks before the end of the season. At that time, Brown revealed in an interview recently unveiled by Celticsblogs Noa Dalzell that the operation is still a way, although this is still in the air.

“I got a lot of doctors with whom I have to be rated – see the potential for surgery not an operation and wait to speak to the organization,” said Brown to Dalzell. “At the moment it is only calm and recovery. I take a step back from a long season. It was mentally a lot of things that were going on.”

Brown's knee injury is only another unknown when it comes to an important Celtics prison season. The front office must formulate a plan for the future of the organization.
