Grapevine lake jet ski crash suspects arrested

Dallas – – Texas Game Warders have arrested a woman who was connected to the death of an 18-year-old who was hit by a jet ski during the kayaking at Grapevine Lake.

Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez was arrested in a house in South Dallas on Tuesday morning.

The Texas Game Warders said it was connected to the death of Ava Moore.

The investigators said two women were on a jet ski on Sunday evening who met 18-year-old Moore near Oak Grove Park.

Moore was pulled to the shore and treated for heavy head trauma before she was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.

The passenger on Jetski stayed at the scene and was interviewed by first aiders.

The driver fled with a man and the couple hit a vehicle when they left the area.

The Grapevine police are investigating the vehicle that affects Runs. The Texas Game Wartens lead the examination of the water incident.

Family and friends said Moore dreamed of joining the US military. It was only a few weeks away from promotion to basic training.

Ke'sha Blanton was Moore's basketball coach of the US Air Force Academy Preparatory School in Colorado last season.

“You know, in the course of the year we spoke that at some point she would be a four-star general in her career because she loved it,” said Blanton. “She made her better around her.”

Moore visited her parents, who live in North Texas, to the Memorial Day Weekend.
