Glenn Maxwell excluded from the rest of the IPL season with finger injury

Punjab -kings suffered a considerable blow when Glenn Maxwell was excluded for the rest of the IPL season due to a broken finger. The Australian all -rounder suffered the injury to his right hand and was officially excluded from further participation in the tournament.

Maxwell has sounded a disappointing season with the bat and had only 48 runs in six games. In each of his last four innings, he could not be double -digit, a strong contrast to the explosive shape for which he is known.
