Dodgers News: Evan Phillip's injury that is able to “visit” Dave Roberts

The Los Angeles Dodgers have a whole series of talented jugs on the injured list, but one of the most effective helpers last season has a worrying update in his recovery.

Last season, Evan Phillips had 63 strikeouts on just 17 walks over 54.2 Inning and led the Dodgers with 18 in parades and appeared as a semi-croser. After Phillips only three hits in 6.2. October Innings had approved, he helped the Dodgers to win the Pennant of the National League, but was closed for the autumn classic because of a risse in his rotator cuff.

Phillips recovered in the low season and returned to the team towards the end of April. After seven appearances, the reason for phillips was to return to the injured list on May 7th.

Manager Dave Roberts spoke about the violation of his aid and the lack of a timeline.

“It starts to get a little worried,” said Roberts. “I don't know how long we can give it until he can try to play again. I'm worried a little, but hope for the best.”

Phillips was originally placed on the injured list for forearm at the beginning of May, but an MRI later showed that the root of the problem was the inflammation in his elbow. No structural damage was found.

As soon as Phillips has been deleted to resume the game, the picture for the reliever becomes clearer, and a plan to return to the hill can be initiated.

Phillips is one of 14 Dodgers jugs on the IL and an important part of a bullpen that feels its absence. In his handful of playing in 2025, Phillips had to allow a run and threw six strikeouts on two walks in 5.2 Inning.
