The son of 'El Chapo' will not be exposed to a death penalty in the Chicago process – NBC Chicago

The list of legal advantages grows for one of El Chapo's sons who is prosecuted due to federal costs in Chicago.

According to the federal prosecutor, Joaquin Guzman Lopez, who has been in custody in a federal process against drug trafficking in Chicago for more than two years, will not be exposed to the death penalty.

Avoiding the death penalty by fatal injection is the most recent advantage of being associated with chapo -related entertaining cooperation with business with the United States government. There was no official explanation for removal of the death penalty from the table in a short court report received by NBC Chicago.

The submission only says: “If the accused is convicted, the government will not obtain any death judgment.” Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman was presented by Andrew Boutros, the newly installed US lawyer in the northern district of Illinois.

Seventeen members of the von El Chapo family have leaned from Mexico to the United States. Chuck Goudie from NBC Chicago reports.

“We look forward to the decision not to apply for the death penalty because it is the right one,” Guzman Lopez, Jeffrey Lichtman, told NBC Chicago. “We have no consent with the government and it is (sic) decision not to apply for the death penalty will not take part in a future agreement, provided we can reach this agreement.”

The defense lawyer based in New York is currently representing El Chapo and his sons, all of whom were charged in nationwide in Chicago.

El Chapo's four sons took the helm of the Sinaloa cartel Mexico when her father was trapped in a US prison for life. Although the number of fatalities from Sinaloa cartel mortals is not broken out by Mexican authorities, there have been more than 400,000 drug cartel murders and Sinaloa in the past 20 years.

Violence is regularly buried on American roads, especially where Sinaloa employees are active. In Chicago it is estimated that Sinaloa medication makes 80% of all street medication sold.

The 38-year-old Guzman Lopez initially received a special treatment last October when he was moved to a nameless facility with better living conditions by the MCC-Chicago.

Two weeks ago, as NBC Chicago reported for the first time, 17 other relatives of El Chapo to the USA from Mexico, as part of a plea agreement for a second son Ovidio Guzman, who is also being pursued in Chicago and is still held in the MCC.
