Evaluation of the video game: “Post trauma” is a puzzle that is worth it to struggle

By Kevin Hoover

Every player knows another one who forms every shape, fashion or form of the puzzle in his video games. Regardless of the complexity, even the weakest hint of a Burtenaser and his controller to play something else, and leave the most fleshiest parts of the story unexpected.

This player will not enjoy it Post traumaThe latest from the publisher Raw anger and developer Red Soul Games. Before the opening title and the spreading of the loan, the game has already shot a number solving sequence on the players on board a subway train. No enemies, no curves, even not-a literally straight walk to the Fro, while porting posters and trying to collect all the necessary digits. Frustrating, but also an appropriate introduction to what will come for those who are not completed by an enigmatic experience. And for those who stay nearby, the unmistakable love letter to the old school survival course that embodies post-trauma is a worthwhile challenge that is worth taking a look.

The present story is that of the U -Bahn conductor Roman. Although not the only character player will take control, this is undoubtedly a hell. Roman is an everyday guy. He has a nine to five. He is a little violent. He is also damn confused about what is going on around him and why he strikes in the skulls of monstrosities, which are piloted around an abandoned U -Bahn station or spied on by the department store for the department store that hide in the dark. There is no lack of obstructions that remove Roman's way to account, among them a frequent dependence on puzzle mechanics-one dividing selection of the design that will make the game popular to survive horror interference, but possibly hunting players who are only looking for good fear

Post-trauma is strongly inspired by Vor-Re4 Resident Evils And Silent Hill 2 But still keeps enough of his own identity that it does not get lost with excessive horror players with a genre call back. Save rooms for which cassettes and footlockers are required for object management to regain the formative years of Survival Horror, but there is another mechanic of the 90s that arrives as the strongest quality of the game.

The fixed camera is back, baby and you will love it here.

In view of the size of the team that worked on the mail trauma, the appearance of the environments is less than half a dozen people, as they came from a studio with unlimited resources (i.e. Oodles and Kaboodles from cash). Pulsating, throbbing tentacle she waves to get a look closer. Walls that seem to breathe with life will challenge your memory when what you see is exactly as you remember, or has it – or has it transformed into a new orientation? And J horror monstrosities from the screen and the side, influenced by the work of Junji ito and films like Ringu, Skitter over and repeated that nightmares thrive black and white. No $ 15 (USD) game has the right to look as good as post -trauma, and the fixed camera hinges ensure that all unreal engine 5 -rendered designs are always shown in the most creative and most worrying way.

On the subject of enemy design, imbibe if you can because the battles are sparse – a clever choice of developers. Do you ever go through an attraction searched and stop, if only for a second to immerse yourself in the bloody fame of the area, just to communicate from other visitors or employees? Or were they ever taken in a game with a visually rich and nuanced place, but couldn't soak it because they are persecuted by something that would rather see a “game over” screen than the carefully manufactured offset? That didn't happen in the post trauma. The team wants its background to be the macabre marquee here, not the amount of enemies that need an immediate dispatch. So lean back and absorb everything – that's why it's there. And as already mentioned, the puzzles here are the real challenge, so that they will not miss boss fights.

A standard guest play in about 6 to 8 hours, with the majority of it probably output for frequent baking tracking to ensure that you have collected all the necessary information for solving puzzles. The developer even warns just as much because the description of the game indicates that they are best served if they play with a pencil and a pad on ARM's reach. And while the mileage of every player will vary, Post trauma provides an AAA experience in a budget-friendly package, which would do the puzzle-averse well to trickle.

Post trauma is currently available on Steam, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
