Ms. dies in the Chico accident after losing control of the Highway 32

A 26-year-old woman from Forest Ranch died on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, in an accident on Highway 32 east of the Woodland Park Drives according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The CHP reported that the woman, who was identified as G. Sigala-Cordoba, drove a Toyota Corolla 2013 on State Route 32 at 7:50 a.m. She tried to navigate in a comprehensive left curve when she lost control of the vehicle.

Chp said that the tire friction associated on the road showed on the road in connection with the accident that the woman lost control of her vehicle while trying to navigate through the curve in the street.

The vehicle stuck from the North Road Edge, continued in the northwest direction and drove along a decreasing dam, where it collided with a tree on the left front, said Chp.

Shortly after the crash, the emergency teams arrived and no longer found Sigala-Cordoba in appealing at the driver's seat because their seat belt was attached. Despite life -saving measures, she was declared dead at the scene.

The CHP explained that alcohol or drugs do not seem to be in the crash factors, which is still being examined.
