Trump, Reality -TV couple who was convicted of federal fraud

President Donald Trump called on Tuesday two of the detained reality television couple Todd and Julie Chrisley from the Oval Office and informed them about his plans to forgive their parents on Wednesday.

The couple, who was known for their roles on the TV show “Chrisley Knows Best”, was looking for pardon from Trump in February after they were sentenced to banks in 2022 for allegedly ending with $ 10 million.

In November 2022, a judge imposed a prison sentence of 12 years for Todd Chrisley and seven years for his wife Julie Chrisley after a jury of Atlanta found her guilty for fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy to the United States after a weekly federal procedure.

An official of the White House announced NBC News that Trump would sign the pardon as soon as they are ready – probably within 24 hours.

Trump announced his plans to forgive the couple to two of their children in a phone call, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley.

Trump told two of her children, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley, in a call that he wanted to excuse the couple.

“It's a terrible thing, but it's a great thing because your parents will be free and clean.” Trump said during the call. “We will try to do it tomorrow.

Grayson Chrisley replied and said: “Mr President, I just want to thank you that you have brought my parents back.”

The spokesman for the White House, Harrison Fields, said in a statement that Trump is “always pleased to give well -deserved Americans a second chance, especially those who were wrongly and excessively persecuted by an unjust judicial system”.

“President Trump called Savannah and her brother from the Oval Office to tell them personally that he would excuse their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley, whose sentences were far too hard,” said Fields.
