The driver who was killed in the crash after lost control of the police fleeing

San Antonio – A driver who died in the event of a crash while fleeing the police was identified by the authorities.

Around 10:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th, an official from the Kerrville police department noticed that a headlight appeared in a 2012 Chevrolet pick-up.

The police say when the officer tried to stop the truck, the driver raced away on the Harper Road.

Less than 30 seconds later, the driver lost control of his vehicle, left the street and hit a parked vehicle on the corner of Harper Road and Lake Drive.

The truck was diverted, a telephone mast hit and tipped over before it came to the break against a nearby residence.

The 27-year-old Jose Alberto Montes was identified by the authorities as a driver. The investigation of the incident continues.
