Body cam video shows moments that lead to recording SLC suspects

Salt Lake City – Body Camera Video, which was published on Tuesday by the Salt Lake Lake City police department, shows what led to one of his civil servants on a suspicious shot that fled before a traffic stop at the beginning of this month.

The video shows the confrontation between the police and 18-year-old Carlos Felipe Ocampo-Flores on May 12th. An officer originally tried a traffic stop on Ocampo flores on 600 west near South Temple, as he reports without a light. Ocamp-Flores refused to stop for the officer and continued.

After the officer was still followed, Ocampo flores drove past several vehicles past a railway crossing and raced before losing control of his car.

After Ocampo Flores fell into several vehicles near 70 South, he left his car, which led to a comprehensive police.

An officer later found Ocampo flores along the railroad tracks and ordered him to stop, but refused and continued to lead. When the officer reached Ocampo flores, he shouted at him not to reach for his covenant. When he seemed, he grabbed something with an object in his hand, the officer fired in Ocampo flores and dropped him to the ground.

Ocampo flores can even move his hands towards his lower body on the floor, while the officials tell him that he should not reach for his covenant. After about a minute, another official used his taser and Ocampo flores were taken into custody.

Mediffs treated OCAMPO flores on site before he was taken to the hospital in a stable state. After his release from the hospital on Friday, he was instructed to the Metro prison of Salt Lake County.
