Missing 3-year-old with intellectual disabilities that are saved from Oscola Pond, show video shows

Oscola County, Fla. -The Members of Oscola County managed to find and save a missing 3-year-old boy who, according to the Sheriff's office, had hiked in a retention pond near his house last month.

In a press release on Thursday, the MPs said that the aviation unit discovered the boy about 300 meters from his house in a retention pond.

“The MPs reacted and regained the child who was already on his chest in the water …”, says the publication. “Fortunately, the child was unharmed and united with his family again.”

As a result of the incident, the Sheriff's office gave families to the “Project Lifesaver” program that offers free GPS tracking bracelets that may be susceptible to extinction.

In the meantime, everyone with information about this case or similar incidents is asked to contact the Sheriff's office under (407) 348-2222.
