Las Vegas (AP) – In the last two minutes, the Vegas Golden Knights appeared back to Minnesota on the edge of the elimination.

But in a crazy sequence, in which the potential winning goal of the game was first confirmed in the video review and then a Vega's challenge was collapsed, the Golden Knights had overcome a new life and forced.

Brett Howden then scored 4:05 a.m. on Tuesday evening in the additional period to give the Golden Knights a 3-2 victory and to dissuade Vegas a game from getting the first round out of the Western Conference.

“It saved our (butt),” said Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy about the offside challenge. “We still have a minute in the game. I don't say that we can't come back, but that's hard, isn't it?”
