Piston's center to miss game 6 against Knicks with knee injury

Detroit – One of the most important defensive anchors in the pistons became up to date with the shootaround on Thursday, but that's the only action he will see today.

The Big Man in the fifth year will miss his fifth game in a row due to the inflammation of the right knee in the first round of the Eastern Conference between Detroit and the New York Knicks. With their season on the line, the pistons will organize a crucial game 6 in the Little Caesars Arena on Thursday evening.

In the last games, he was classified as questionable in the injury report, only to be excluded hours before Tippoff.

Although Detroit achieved two victories in the series – both on the street in Madison Square Garden – the lack of his leadership and production, especially at the defensive end, can still be felt.

Without him, the Knicks Center Karl-Anthony Towns, especially in games 3 and 4, took full advantage of it when it achieved 31 and 27 points scored their best excursions in the series.

The Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff has made several looks to curb cities, including the veteran striker Tobias Harris, the Paul Reed reserve center, and the starter Jalen Duren in selected routes.

His absence for game 6 is not entirely surprising, since Bickerstaff was asked at the beginning of the week – when she was asked directly that a return of the player “beef pot” was unlikely.
