Hanna City Man is guilty of receiving charges in a fatal 2023 Dui crash

Peoria (25News Now) – A man from Hanna City, who initially changed his position on a chase that ends with a fatal crash about leading MPs.

In Peoria County Court, 45-year-old Jeremy Perry from Hanna City is guilty of being charged with severe journeys under the influence and because of heavy DUI. These charges come from an accident in which the 43-year-old Mirium Schmid was killed by Edwards and her son was seriously injured.

The crash occurred more than two years ago during a chase with the district's office.

According to the law firm of the state of Peoria County, Perry reached the intersection of the Route 150 and the Koerner Road and led a red light. At that time he collided with Schmid's vehicle, which led to a three car accident.

Blood tests showed that Perry THC and Meth had in his system.

Perry has been in prison since then. He will return for a conviction for June 25th.
