The 21-year-old hit-and-run-suspended in the Newport Beach Crash-orange County Register arrested

In connection with a hit-and-run crash, an arrest was made in which a pedestrian was left behind with serious injuries, the police from Newport Beach announced on Thursday, May 1st.

The crash occurred on April 24 at 11:15 p.m. when a vehicle supposedly a woman at the intersection of the 22nd Street and the Newport Boulevard, the Newport Beach Police Sgt. Steve Oberon said.

The officials found that the vehicle involved left the scene before the police arrived. Mediffs brought the victim to serious injuries to a trauma center, said Oberon.

She stayed under care on Thursday, he said.

“Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, the NBPD accident examination team reacted to the scene and began to investigate the collision,” he said.

A comprehensive examination that extended over several counties and over several days led to the discovery of the suspicious vehicle in the city of Fontana. The vehicle was dragged back to Newport Beach.

The suspect, a 21-year-old woman from Jurupa Valley, was based on Tuesday and arrested for suspected hit-and-run, which led to an injury. She was booked in the Newport Beach Police Department prison.

She has not yet been charged with the collision. It released and was released from custody on Wednesday, according to Orange County Jail Records.
