The man of the man shot by the police refuted the claims that are raised by investigators

Richland, Miss. (Wlbt) – It was a week since a man was shot in a fatal shot in Richland.

It happened last Thursday.

The forensic doctor of Rankin County, David Ruth, identified Abdullah Chetin as the person shot by the police.

It was a traffic stop that led to Chein barricaded himself in a motorhome, which then turned into a patient situation and finally became a fatal shooting.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation said during the traffic stop, Chet from Ocala, Florida, from Rankin County Coroner David Ruth, barricaded into the motorhome, pulled out a weapon and started shooting officers while they were in the RV.

This led to a change of gunfire between Chetin and the officers.

However, Chein's son Muhammed pushes back what the investigators say about the shootout.

“They say he was the driver, they pulled him over and he opened the fire, none of it was the truth,” said Chetin.

Muhammed drove a motorhome inside with his mother and father.

They came back from Texas when he was stopped by the police because he had driven on the trail.

“I felt the aggression; the mood was very aggressive,” said Chetin. “It was not as if a policeman had accidentally stopped the vehicle and tried to find out, but he almost pretended that he knew that this vehicle had drugs and there were terrible people in this vehicle.”

Muhammed said that the officials who were in simple clothing asked everyone to get out of the motorhome.

He and his mother went outside and stood on the back of the motorhome.

His father was still inside and slept.

According to Muhammed, when Abdullah, who does not speak English, woke up to civil servants in simple clothing, his self -defense mechanism entered.

“My logic is, my father, who has undergone all of these executions, law enforcement measures, exile and sabotage as well as attempts at assassination, sleeps in his bed,” said Chetin. “There are two strangers without uniforms in civilian clothes. These people are not his family members; they shout at him, so he pulls out his gun to defend himself.

When the shots broke out, Muhammed said that the police put him and his mother in a cop cruiser and then brought them to prison.

He said they were about 10 hours behind bars and only found out early Friday morning that his father was shot by the police.

“At that moment he may have returned to history, then he thinks in Turkey and is attacked, and the government agents try to kill him. Maybe they are not real police officers, [he doesn’t know] What's going on, “said Chetin. [mentally]. “”

“He is not a person who will fight for no reason.”

Abdullah was a journalist from Turkey.

Muhammed said he had often spoken against government officials, which made him the goal.

As a result, Muhammed said that his father was called terrorist.

However, he claims that these allegations are wrong.

Muhammed also claims that the fact that his father was on a list of terrorists prompted the police to overtake her motorhome in Richland that night.

“Because of what my father knows and what he stood for, they marked him as an enemy,” said Chetin. “I think this was a successful Swating operation, it hit him.

The State Bureau of Investigation is now taking the lead in this case.

Wlbt turned to the agency about the allegations of Chetin.

They stated that this incident is an open and ongoing examination and that no further comment would be made at this point.
