The investigators try to find the person who Shot and killed mentone -born Adam battles At the beginning of April.

Adam's mother, Dedra Battles, spoke to Waff 48 on Thursday and she said she couldn't find out how someone would like to hurt her son.

The investigators say that battles in his vehicle were shot in his driveway in County Road 641 in Mentone.

Since then, the investigators have followed several leads to find the person responsible, including photos of this vehicle near the scene.

Dedra Battles, Adam's mother, said this was the most difficult time that her family ever had to endure.

She shared a message for the person responsible

“Sometimes I want me to scream, sometimes I want to cry, and it is only worse that I have ever gone through. You should turn yourself and how could you be such a monster?” Battles said.

Dedra said Waff 48 that Adam leaves two sons, who unfortunately have to reach her milestones without him in her life.

“Two little boys do not have their father. One of them has a prom without his father this weekend. Then in two weeks he will graduate without his father,” said Schlachten.

The family increased the reward for information about the shootout due to donations from the community to 2,500 US dollars.
