South Carolina publishes injury report in front of the series against Florida

South Carolina takes over the Florida Gator in a three -game series in Founders Park from Friday. On Thursday, South Carolina published a long report on injuries before game 1.

The GameCocks will be without key starters in the series. Pitcher Eli Jerzembeck and Inf Nolan Nawrocki were lost for the year at the beginning of this season. The latest development was the shoulder injury to Ethan Petry, which will probably keep him away for the rest of 2025.

The gators will be without pitching depth. The left Hander McCall Biemiller, Frnak Menendez, Niko Janssens and Jacob Gomberg are getting out. Infieldder Cade Kurland and Colby Shelton are also listed as out.

This series against Florida ends a home stand with four games for the GameCocks. After the final on Sunday, South Carolina will be in action again in Auburn, Alabama, to take over the tigers.

The Gamecocks are 25-20 in 5-16 within the Sec. Florida is a total of 30-16, 8-13 in the conference this year.
