Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ends with the 4th in the NBA Sportsmanship Award

While the NBA playoffs from 2025 continue, the league continues to announce the winners for some of its annual awards. On Thursday there was known that the Boston Celtics Guard Jrue Holiday won the NBA Sportsmanship Award 2024-25. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took fourth place.

The NBA Sportsmanship Award has been presented annually since the 1995/96 season and honors a player who is best the ideal of sportiness on the square. Each NBA team nominated one of his players for the award. From the list of 30 team nominators, a body of league executives selected six finalists, one from every division. Current NBA players chose the winner from the list of the six finalists.

Gilgeous-Alexander scored 2,270 points of voting. He had 61 votes in the first place, 36 votes in second place, 80 votes in third place, 87 votes in fourth place, 75 votes in fifth place and 55 votes in sixth place. The complete voting results can be displayed below:
