Man who threw the car in the car as a teenager and killed the woman

A man from Colorado who is guilty

The 20-year-old Nichola's Karol-Chik was sentenced to 45 years in prison after he was guilty of committing murder to commit murder and a crime of violent reinforcement against the suspicion of murder.

These charges are all due to Alexa Bartell's death, who died on April 19, 2023 when a large stone was thrown through the window of her car.

Karol-Chik agreed to this request as part of a contract with prosecutors, in which he also had to testify in return for a reduced punishment in the proceedings against his co-accused Joseph Koenig.

Karol-Chik was appointed to testify twice in court during the trial. The public prosecutor's office of the first public prosecutor's office (FJDAO) said on Thursday at the hearing that he had met the requirements of his business.

The judge condemned Karol-Chik about murder for the crime of violent reinforcement and 24 years because of the criminal attempt to commit murder resolution, 45 years in prison, as can be seen from the FJDAO. The publication also states that these punishments will also be pursued as a combined prison sentence of 45 years, followed by five years of probation for murder and three years because of the charges of criminal attempts.

“I will have to live with the fact that my wish to impress people from whom I thought they were friends, caused this tragedy,” said Karol-Chik during the hearing on Thursday after the release.

Then he spoke to the victim's family and said: “I hope that one day you can find it in your heart to forgive.”

The victim's mother spoke earlier in the procedure after the publication. “These three spent the evening to laugh, hunt and search for destruction,” said the victim's mother when he asked the judge to impose the maximum 72-year prison sentence.

In the meantime, the deputy district prosecutor Brynn Chase said in court that Karol-Chik was already reduced by avoiding the first degree's murder, regardless of how many years the judge sentenced him to a service.

“With the degree of seriousness of the crime, there is simply no way to pay what the three did than for a significant offset to the department of corrections,” said Chase. “A sadness is bound by this, but it is the measure of justice that is required here.”

Karol-Chik stated in court that he made the nine-pfund-Felsen available to Bartell's murder Koenig on the night of the victim.

The two men, together with the co -accused Zachary Kwak, then drove with the wreck and took photos of the scene without ever checking Bartell, an affidavit that was submitted in the case.

KWAK was the first to take a plea in the case, followed by Karol-Chik in May 2024.

Koenig, who was responsible for throwing the fatal rock, was condemned last week for the first degree murder with an increased number of extreme indifference, which has an obligatory prison sentence without the possibility of probation.
