Three people killed after the driver was removed from Weld County's traffic stops

Weld County, Colorado-Dre People, were killed in WELD County on Wednesday after the driver of a suspected stolen vehicle gave away from a traffic stop and crashed against another vehicle.

According to the Sheriff's Office of the Weld County (WCSO), a deputy, a suspected stolen vehicle, a GMC Yukon, on the Highway 85 near Highway 60 at around 3 p.m. When the deputy went to the vehicle, the driver raced.

At one point, the GMC Yukon went into the southern lanes over the median and, according to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), fell into a Toyota 4runner. The crash caused a gas leak, and both vehicles caught fire and catch all inmates inside.

According to CSP, soldiers tried to push the two vehicles apart with one of their cruisers. They also used fire extinguishers to lay out the fire.

The driver and the passenger in the GMC Yukon died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota 4runner-one 57-year-old woman-sowd also killed. The Weld County Coroner office will release the identity of the three people as soon as their closest relatives have been notified.

According to the CSP, a Member of Weld County suffered minor injuries while trying life -saving measures and being treated at the scene. The CSP Cruiser who pushed the two vehicles apart was damaged

The unit for vehicle crimes of CSP examines a crash, while WCSO carries out an internal examination. Due to the ongoing examination, the Sheriff office announced that it could not share any further details.

According to the CSP, the license plate on the GMC Yukon did not match the vehicle and was confirmed. The VIN number of the vehicle was destroyed in the fire. The investigators are working on determining whether the vehicle itself was also stolen.
