Foreign Minister Marco Rubio – Mocked by Donald Trump as a “Little Marco” during the Republican in 2016 – has become one of the most powerful players in the president's cabinet.

Trump appointed Rubio Interim National Security Adviser on Thursday after Mike Waltz, together with his deputy MP Alex Wong, was forced to leave the post.
