College Baseball preview: Clemson against Florida State in a top 5 series

Clemson and Florida State have met almost every year since 1957. One person could count on one hand how many seasons they no longer have in the 68-year history. The FSU heads the 83-77-1 series, but the tigers have dominated in recent years.

Below you will find a list of series results since 2015 and a return to two of the largest meetings over the period of 10 years.

2024: No. 4 Clemson Sweeps No. 12 Florida State

In 2024, one of the wildest series has recently delivered between Clemson and Florida State. The seminols entered the late March meeting as a lonely team in DI-Baseball with zero loss, but left the Doug Kingsmore Stadium with three.

The Tigers ran the FSU in game 1, gained game 2 behind a eight -speed ninth inning after dismantling the frame 9-1 and beating the door in game 3. 2018: Tigers' Jordan Greene Hits Walk Off Homer to win the series

In 2018, another magical series presented. The seminols left Clemson and his fans after game 1 a sour taste in the mouth, where the right field player Steven Wells in the 13th Inning took a walk from Homerun to win it 3-2.

The Tigers only reacted to the ninth inn in game 2 with a 12: 7 victory and the winner of the rubber game. With an out, the second Baseman and Pinch-Hitter Jordan Greene gave the FSU a foretaste of their own medicine and struck a walk from Homer to the left field to win the competition with 5: 4.
