Your manager John Porter told The Hollywood reporter Sobule died at a house fire on Thursday. “Jill Sobule was a power of the nature and human rights lawyer, whose music is integrated into our culture. I had so much fun working with her,” said Porter in an explanation. “I lost a customer and a friend today. I hope your music, your memory and her inheritance continue to live and inspire others.”

Soble's ironic-whimsic songs were perfect for the early 90s. “I kiss a girl” is often seen as the first openly queer love song to break that Advertising board Top 20. She identified itself as bisexual, and her “I kiss a girl” is much less ambivalent in relation to experience than that of Katy Perry. The second single from Sobule, “Supermodel”, was included in the Unsuspecting Soundtrack. It plays when Brittany Murphy's character Tai gets a revision of Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Dash). Sobule worked with artists and artists, from XS John Doe to reach SNL Alaun Julia Sweeney to Emma Roberts during her Nickelodeon Days. Your autobiographical musical, F*ck 7th grade, was nominated for a drama Desk Award. The original cast of the show will be released on June 6th. The show that she should perform in Denver on Friday evening will now be a spontaneous monument.
