When Rekha said her father, she screwed it up by dealing with Amitabh Bachchan: “It became the largest scandal in the industry.” Hindi Movie News

Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan are two of the largest stars in the Indian cinema, both of whom are loved for their powerful performance and unforgettable screen presence. But beyond the canvas, their names were connected to each other in one of the most spoken love stories by Bollywood that none of them have ever confirmed or contested.
While her families are silent, Rekha's father, the legendary South Indian actor Gemini Ganesan, once shared his thoughts on this topic. What he said was surprised by many and gave a rare insight into Rekha's personal life.

Gemini Ganesan about Rekha's alleged relationship with Amitabh Bachchan

In an old interview with the Star & Style magazine, Gemini Ganesan opened the rumored relationship between Rekha and Bigb.
Ganesan himself had a complicated love life. He was married to Alamelu, but also had relationships with other women, including actress Pushpavalli – Rekha's mother. He was not afraid to talk about his own affairs. In fact, he proudly said: “When I married Savitri and Pushpavalli a few years ago, eyebrows were raised, and it became the largest scandal in the industry. Today nobody is horrified when you hear that Dilip Kumar Asma or Dharmendra -Hema -Me -Hema -Me -Hema -Hema married.
Rekha was born in 1954 as the son of Gemini Ganesan and Pushpavalli. The two were never married. Ganesan stayed with his first wife, while Pushpavalli was already separated from her husband.

While the Amitabh chapter was the most spoken, Rekha's love life never found permanent happiness. It was associated with several actors and filmmakers, but none of the relationships worked. In 1990 she married the businessman Mukesh Agarwal. The marriage was worried right from the start, and only seven months later Mukesh died of suicide.
