The Pleasant Grove Community came together on Thursday to show the family of Dalton Gibbs love and support.

Love and support had about a hundred people gather for Dalton's family.

2News spoke to a close friend and bishop of the family and asked him what Dalton was.

He couldn't help but smile at him.

“Dalton was a great, great boy,” said Todd Trane. “He brought a light wherever he was. He had the biggest smile, he only brought everyone who knew him, luck.”

The crowd gathered for a short time on the corner of Northfield Drive and 1300 West before going to the family's house.

There they sang songs of the family.

The media were asked not to follow the house so that the community could share this special moment with the family.

American flags lined the street that went the crowd. They were drawn up by the “Follow of the Flag” group.

They are a pleasant Grove group that usually honor first aiders and military people, but they felt that they were doing something for the family.

“Because it brings us together as a community and the family lets us know that we take care of them and we are there for them,” said Jordan Banks, who is together at the organization.

Many people in the community have been emotional since the accident because they feel for this family.

Trane said the family was grateful for the support that they received in this difficult time.
