Today British Rock Icons Skunk Ansansie have electronically driven their brand new single “Animal”, dark and moody. It has proven to be an absolute hit on the youngest sold -out UK & European Tour of the band. The song is the latest track, which was taken over from the upcoming album of the band, The Painful Truth, on May 23 via FLG.

Singer Skin commented: “So pleased that this track was finally published because it was a fan favorite during the tour and a storm went down! I hope you all like it too.”

The painful truth is a really fascinating, provocative, powerful and emotional album that shows a band on the absolute highlight of its strength, but to prove with everything.

“I don't care that we were big in the 1990s,” says Sängerhaut. “It is creative because the first bid in my rock bible is:” When your calm on them laurels, you will die artistically, musically, mentally and then financially. “

And for the skin, the past counts for nothing. Even if you have been a band for 30 years and the story seems on your side. The painful truth is the sound of stabbed ana, which is what they are and what they want to become. It is more than an album title. It is a reality that you have lived through.

A combination of parenthood, illness and the departure of her long -time manager seemed to conspire against her and increase her insecurity and to force singers Skin, guitarist Ace, bassist Cass and drummer to question their place in the world as a band and their own personal ambitions. They called it almost a day for a while.

The four-member review of a farmhouse in Devon, where they were withdrawn to a farmhouse in a farmhouse in the middle of Frank discussions and homemade dinner, they slowly began to bring their feelings together in songs.

“If we write, we are only the four in a room without distractions or interference that get to know us again. We had done the biggest hits tour and we found that things had to change. If we had nothing fresh and future -oriented thinking, we could no longer be a band.

And the painful truth is anything but Skunk karaoke. Produced by David Sitek of TV on the Radio -Ruhm, it is a fresh, Frank, uplifting and textured album with the talent of the band to write big pop songs defiantly. If at all, their hooks are sharper this time and fall faster.

The first single, “an artist is an artist”, is proof of this; A funny, provocative, pulsating slice with prickly, new shaft brilliance was greeted by fans and media, which was greeted with a radio with playlist on BBC6MUSIC, Kerrang Radio, Planet Rock and Absolute, alongside BBC6Music, and today's brand new Brand-NewMB-Rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto-rhyto, was welcomed. There is a really euphoric choir and shows the mere quality and the ambition of the new album again.

The painful truth is a radical recording that was made for these uncertain times. Her first publication on the newly shaped FLG recordings and with new management is also a freshness that contradicts your famous career and previous multi-platinum services. It is a record in which Skunk Ansansie is one of the most exciting, visionary and most important bands in British music.

“If I really think about it, yes, we made some good records in our time, but it was a long time ago that we made a great album. And that is the painful truth,” admits skin. “Understand that has made us do what I really think is our biggest record so far.”
