The death of man in Montgomery County's prison is probably from positions -asphyxia, the investigation continues

A man who died in custody in the Montgomery County prison on March 24th probably died of a position aspect aspiration, said Sheriff Rob Streck in an explanation.

This goes from a preliminary report by the Coroner's Office of the Montgomery County.

After the report, Streck said that he had housed 10 employees who interacted with 25-year-old Christian Black from Zanesville.

Streck said that the move was “a procedural step (the) no fault, misconduct or violations of the guidelines”.

Black was held in March and was captured because of the maintenance of stolen property and because of the official business.

He supposedly crashed a vehicle on the I-70 that was stolen during a robbery in Beavercreek. Black was treated for injuries and released into the Montgomery County prison.

During his imprisonment, the police claimed that Black had tried to flee, fought with the staff several times and repeatedly hit his head on the door of his cell. He was brought to a back chair, said the sheriff.

“A security back chair is used to control combative, self -destructive or possibly violent inmates in order to reduce the risk of physical damage for both the occupant and the staff,” the explanation says.

Black lost consciousness while he was on the foreen, said Streck. The medical staff of the prison carried out an HLW near black before being taken to the hospital.

The MPs will not publish the incident during the continuation of the investigation, said Streck.

The Dayton Police Department and the Coroner office of the Montgomery County continue to examine Black's death.
