Revere Rivers “A girl named Happiness” – Americana UK

Photo loan: Paul Andrews Photography

Revere River's new single is really powerful. The vocal performance of the layered instrumentation and the rivers combines to create an incredibly atmospheric song in “A girl named luck”. Rivers' reserved singing, which was sometimes almost spoken, gives the impression of an intimate conversation; It is tender, sensitive and emotional and pulls the listener quietly into his words. James Gadson delivers a light, yet persistent rhythm on the drums, and everything else depends on the subtle but urgent feeling that he creates. David Ralicke arranged and explained the horns who do it “A girl named luck” Quietly epic next to Rivers' piano and Hammond B-3. The accompanying video created by Paul Andrews is simple, but effective – Rivers appears alone and delivers his words with great feeling.

Rivers says about the song: “I wrote a girl named happiness 'in a dark night of the soul season. I had a hard time sleeping and would wake up in the middle of the night and found no relief.' A girl named Happiness is a metaphiness for the inner joy that I found to find ideas. The record producer Marvin Etzioni got to know me more and I was with Dr. Ralicke.

The single will appear on “I was born out of water”Rivers' debut album. The album was produced this summer by Marvin Etzioni, who worked with counters of crows. While you are waiting for the full collection, absorb “A girl named luck” – A moody and warm introduction to Revere Rivers.
