A life -threatening state after crash between scooter and collection

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Wpta) – One person is in a life -threatening state after a crash between a pickup and a motorized scooter, which took place on Thursday evening north of the city center of Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne's police say that the crash was taking place in the North Clinton Street near the Salvation Army around 10 p.m.

Officer Adam Shotzman, a spokesman for the police authority in Fort Wayne, said that the man on the motorized scooter wore everything black and went north at the time of crashing on Clinton.

The police say that the collection is also on Clinton to the north and hit the scooter when he inherited the hill. They say the driver stopped immediately and soon 911 calls followed.

Doctors took the man to the hospital with life -threatening injuries.

The investigators neither believe that speed nor alcohol are factors in the accident. The examination continues.
