Chicago (WLS) – A man is in custody after the police said in Chicago that a woman was sexually attacked in Rogers Park on Thursday evening.

The incident took place around 11:07 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Lunt Avenue.

The police said a 21-year-old woman was on foot in a gangway when she pulled out a 19-year-old man a knife. The man then sexually attacked the woman and fled out of the scene, the police said.

The woman found a police officer and the responding officers were table to take a suspect in custody, the police said.

The woman was taken to the St. Francis Hospital, where she was listed in good condition.

The three detectives in the area of ​​three examinations and fees are still pending.
