Angel to put Mike trout with bone breeding in the knee on IL

The Los Angeles Angels will put the Outfield Mike Trout on the injured list because a bone blood in his left knee was weakened, manager Ron Washington said after the team's 10: 4 defeat against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday evening.

Washington said reporters in Anaheim that the injury was not considered serious, and tests showed no structural damage in Trouts knee, and added that he took some time to rest.

The star outfield left the game of the Angels against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday because of the injury. During a bat in the third inning, he tried to bring a floor ball to the second basis. He sprinted down the line and crashed first and was hardly outside. Trout stayed in the game in defense, but was pulled on the next inning and replaced by the pinch -hitter Jo Adell.

He underwent several tests after the game and said that he was confident that it was only about the breaking of scar tissue. He said he planned on Thursday, but was out of line for the start of the series against the Tigers.

It was the first games that put over the whole season.

He performed in 29 games last season before setting the meniscus in his surgically repaired left knee and the rest of the season outside.

He meets this season .173 with nine homes and 18 RBis.
