Sport highlights from Saginaw areas: Caro, Cass City Battle around the thumb

Caro and Cass City did not disappoint in a big thumb game with two of the best baseball pitchers in their thumb.

Caros Carson Anthes from Xander Grice and Cass City put on a pitching display, but were not on the hill when Cass City scored a 2-1 win in Nine Innings. Caro returned to win a 7: 6 victory in the night cream on Thursday to share the Doublehead.

Xander Grice threw six innings and allowed three goals, two walks and a deserved run with four strikes. Anthes achieved 14 in six innings, with both pitchers going into seventh place 1: 1.

Ramon Zamora Jr. followed with two shutout -ininnings for the Tigers before Cass City scored in ninth place for victory.

Zamora Jr. led the Tigers offensive with a goal, run and two walks, while Trentin Hessling scored a double and Wyatt Waterman drove in a lonely run.

Landyn Stine achieved the victory in the night tongue and allowed two deserved runs and two walks in seven innings and struck three. Stine also drove in the seventh inning in the game -winning run.

Xander Grice went with three goals, including Homer and Double, Caro. Max Grice added two doubles and three RBIs, with Zamora Jr. received two goals and two runs. Hessling went twice. St

Girl football

Millington 7, Caro 0: Emmaleigegh Peters scored two goals in the first half with a support from Grace Ehrmantraut to put Millington a 2-0 half time. After Peters had completed the hat trick with a penalty goal in the second half, Millington scored two goals from Savannah and Ella Narruhn and Ehrmantraut. Makayla France and Narruhn added assists. Brooklyn Barden earned himself in the goal.

Bullock Creek 0, Ogemaw Heights 0: Bullock Creek and Ogemaw Heights survived the rain and a 40-minute delay, but their goal scorers cooled down in a Jack Pine Conference Tite. Audrie Stoltenberg scored the 4-3-4 Lancers seven parades in the goal.

Nouvel 5, Valley Lutheran 0: Rachel Lefevre and Claire Long scored goals for Nouvel at the Tri-Valley conference victory, and Julia Hamilton achieved their fourth shutout of the season.

Young lacrosse

Heritage 15, Lapeer 4: Elden Wideman scored nine goals with assist to lead the legacy to a victory of the Saginaw Valley League. Brennan Denay added two goals and four templates, while John Ryan led the defense with seven floor balls. Josh Larsen scored 10 parades on the net for the Hawks (9-3, 6-2).
