Kentucky Wildcats trainer who support Otega oweh through NBA draft process

When College basketball service plans continued to take shape before the 2025–26 season, Kentucky fans received a small update about the outstanding Guard Otega Oweh.

During a recent question on Instagram, assistant coach Alvin Brooks III was asked about the chances of oweh to return to Lexington. His answer did not confirm a decision, but offered clarity about where Oweh's focus is currently.

“He has just focused on the NBA preparation,” said Brooks. “We support him in every respect.”

Oweh, a 6-foot 5-senior, said at the beginning of the low season for the NBA design and saved his college authorization. Last season he scored an average of 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game and quickly became one of the best two-way players from Kentucky. His explosive athletics and defensive persistence have made him a name to watch her – even if he is not yet a lock for the design.

The players have time until May 29th to withdraw and return to college. Oweh's decision to test the waters follows a growing trend among the subclasses who want to receive feedback from NBA employees before the final call.

Regardless of whether oweh stays in the design or returns to Lexington, the wildcats seem to be ready for both results. At the moment, fans have to wait when OWE rejects its options and work towards his basketball.

When oweh returns, Kentucky will have one of the best declines of the nation with Jaland Lowe, Denzel Aberdeen and oweh. With this three -member monster, it will be difficult for opponents to compete against these three.
