President says he will revoke Harvard's tax exemption status

The Democratic Party started today a new initiative that aimed to obtain republicans in need of protection to oppose the Democrats against a Budget Act of Congress supported by Trump, which is expected to include cuts against Medicaid.

The DNC plans to work with the DCCC, the democratic campaign arm, together with four Republicans of the House of Representatives: Tom Barrett, R-Mich., Don Bacon, R-Neb., Mike Lawler, Rn.Y., and Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Pa.

Bacon, Lawler and Fitzpatrick represent the country's only republican districts that the former Vice President Kamala Harris won during the 2024 election, as the Center for Politics emerged. Barrett's seat was previously made by Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich.

“The American people are angry with Trump and the dangerous attacks by Republicans on their health care and republican representatives in need of protection BarrettPresent Bacon, Lawler and Fitzpatrick will seal their political fate if they agree to Trump's catastrophic budget, ”said Ken Martin, chairman of DNC in a statement.

The Democrats plan to organize events in the town hall in the legislators and to head the voters, “make their outrage known” by calling legislators and sending them by email.

The party said that it has already organized more than 100 events in the town hall nationwide in the past two months, but these new efforts will also encourage democratic voters to organize their own community events in order to further end their basis. This will also help “to find basic strength for critical elections,” added Martin.

The democratic initiative will be part of the “Fight to Save Medicaid” party in order to “put republicans in need of protection, to work for their voters”.

Alabama Rep. Suzan Delbene, the chairman of the DCCC, said the four Republicans “will be exposed to the anger of the voters if they meet the budget requirements of Trump”.

“In order to maintain the pressure, the DNC will organize a new round of the town halls of the people in the districts of these endangered Republicans, while it uses state -of -the -art organization of tactics to activate supporters and put pressure on the Republicans before the voices of budget reconciliation were right,” she said in a statement. “This will be a comprehensive flash of the Democratic Party to save health care for millions of Americans.”
