NBA Playoffs: Minnesota, that's for you … and everyone else

When I went live during the two words: Wolves Pod on Wednesday evening with Ryan Eichten and Andrew Carlson, two indispensable men who helped me to submit Canis Hoopus this year, I was full of feelings. Unbelief. Fear. Satisfaction. Relief. Sensitivity. Energy. Sensational. Treacherous.

But mostly broken down.

I only went to mood and did not use my 30 rows of game notes that I made throughout the game. In the end I flowed how the victory of the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Los Angeles Lakers is right for so many people. It made me think:

Who else enjoys, the Timberwolves only win our fans?

Tier 1 – Timberwolves team

Timberwolves player

This series victory was a direct proof for the players in this team. They fought on and off the square due to adversities. Due to Tim Connelly's trade in the camps before training, they were not set up with a smooth runway, and the early results reflected this.

However, you have never lost sight of the goal.

The entire team came closer and googled. They took their step at the perfect time and the proof was in pudding. They dethroned King James, held the Husky Luka Dončić monkey from their backs and are now allowed to enjoy the fruits of their work.

Well deserved.

Timberwolves Coaching employees and Front Office

It is time to ointment Chris Finch as the best head coach in the franchise story. He may not have the volume of the regular season wins as a late flip Saunders, but he is just a victory that corresponds to Simple Saunders' Nach season after the season. Finch and his team watched the fans on their fingers and saw other neighboring playoff opponents their coaches because of less criminal offenses.

But the team never fluctuated. The team had a steadfast belief in their coaches and never publicly questioned the plan. They remained the course. Finch, Micah Nori, Elston Turner, Pablo Prigioni, Chris Hines, James White and the rest of the squad all earn a large part of the loan. They believe better that they are overjoyed.

I would not mention the engineer of this whole thing. No, not you Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez. I speak of a Mr. Timothy Martin Connelly, President of Basketball Operations. Boy, was he pulled across the coals by both local and national speaking minds? The Rudy trade. The Randle trade. But everything has come into play and he must have beamed in the first round.

Tier 2 – connected to the timber wolves

Timberwolves fans

This includes most of us readers and those who live in the comment area. It feels clichéd to say that sports teams would not be here without the fans, but it is literally true. We feed the machine with money, clicks and attention. Sometimes we endure the worst of it.

Do you think that Anthony Edwards is worse in February than the Wizards of the Washington Wizards loses than the die-hard fan, who comes home from a rough 9: 5 working day to spend three hours of your short evening to see it?

Many of us were fans of this team longer than most players on this squad. It has always been the long game for us, so the reward is just as cute, if not more. Especially when it comes to a familiar enemy.

Former Timberwolves player

You don't believe that Kevin Garnett, who chose the wolves to win, is not a wall after this victory? This is a legend that lost three times in the playoffs to the Lakers during his career.

Ricky Rubio, who was on the right track six years earlier than the final result to end the Wolves Playoff Dürre, suffered his first major sports injury from the Lakers. I will never forget the infamous “,”You don't call it so t“Play. I imagine that he lived his best life in Spain, continued the game and pointed to the television screen to tell his son.”You see him, Liam? This is your father's good friend, Ant-Man!“”

Then of course they have people like Patrick Beverley, who still have an affinity for his former team in Minnesota and not so much for his former team in Los Angeles.

Tier 3-Directs anti-laker facilities

Boston Celtics

The Celtics still have boastful rights after they lifted the number 18 banner a year ago and broke the draw with the Lakers at 17. These two teams have been more than half a century. I am sure that some fans played in a potential matchup between the two in the NBA final (LOL), but I am sure that Boston is satisfied with (another) exit exit in the first round for LA.

Sacramento Kings

I take here in my team in the hometown. Sure, their rivalry may not be as clever or geographically relevant as the other two teams, but they experienced a terrible heartache through the Lakers in the 2000s. You can call me here for some bias, but I am sure that 99% of the Kings fans were happy that Los Angeles fails.

Los Angeles Clippers (and other “secondary” La sports teams)

The Clippers are one of the wolves that many brothers are in fear. They are also among the many forgotten stepchildren of the sports teams based in Los Angeles. The Clipper finally moved out of the Lakers' basement this year, but I know a lot (okay, maybe a handful) from Clipper fans who are still getting angry when the lakers thrive.

I will deal with the fans of other “secondary” La teams. I met fans of the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Chargers, who have great contempt for their richer and more popular siblings.

Tier 4 – Peripheral roots against Lakers/Laker player

Nico Harrison

Somewhere in the deep dark corner of the American Airlines Arena plans Nico to hold a public press conference in which all media take part with full media access. You know that he had the biggest grin on his face after Luka was gassed in a series of Playoff games. I won't give him props, but congratulations, I think?

Michael Jordan fans

Old heads and gene X'ers pump softly while you see LeBron James, perhaps the only player who will ever threaten the throne of the air condition in the playoffs. This ensures that he will stay with four rings for the time being, only two shy of the MJ.

Kobe Bryant fans

One of the top 20 players of all time from Lakers has a Legion of Stans. Los Angeles has landed since that day greatest The local community has refused to completely accept him as a franchise player. In her eyes, he will “never be”, although he is a far superior player with every metric. This loss only works more fuel to strengthen your fiery hatred on Lebron.

Small/medium -sized market teams

There is a reason why ESPN and other national sports networks are criticized for their prejudices. The coastal teams of the large market in countries such as New York and California often receive the lion's share of exposure to the air waves. Instead of “The Timberwolves entered the second round of the playoffs“Stephen A. Smith is busy preparing a segment”How LA was neglected and can rebuild this summer.“”

In the meantime there are great teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder or Cleveland Cavaliers who only end footnotes. Even if the clicks and views will still be available after the big market teams have been eliminated, we can all be able to encourage our failure.

Tier X – in the ether

Flip Saunders

I do not think that the late flip of Saunders is badly willing to take the Lakers. However, Los Angeles ended the last two post -season races from Flip in the early 2000s with the wolves. That certainly didn't suit him. About 10 years later, just a few days after his tragic death, the wolves opened the 2015 NBA season in Los Angeles.

This was a game with a WHO -IS -WHO with important NBA numbers. KG and Kobe's last “opening day”. Julius Randle's true debut after shocking his leg at the start of the previous season. Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell's rookie debut. Ricky Rubio puts a career high at that time in points, including a flood of mid-range jumpers. The list continues.

Just like in a film, the game came to a last possession with seconds on the clock. With a little more than four seconds and the wolves that adhere to a one-point lead, Lou Williams received the inbounds pass and drove directly past the fast garnett. He chose a relatively open shot he made in his sleep, but iron struck back when the time went. Ricky Rubio reached for the ball and pointed to the sky.

Some say flip looked down on the wolves and gave them a final victory.

Tim Allen

Tim Allen was one of the former Site Managers of Canis Hoopus for those among them who do not know. He was a man who was full of optimism and hope and always predicted a season record of 82: 0. He died unexpectedly in summer 2012 and shocked the community of wolves and the SB Nation. It has become ordinary wolves to use “82-0” to honor Tim, regardless of whether it is in the comment area or on social media.

Rest in power, Tim.

This was for you.
