Fedex driver, who has charged a fatal 2-vehicle rollover crash from Burke County, say soldiers

Morganton, NC (WBTV) -A Fedex truck driver was charged with two vehicles on Thursday afternoon with a fatal rollover crash on Thursday afternoon.

The delivery truck driver, the 27-year-old Talmadge Belcher from Lenoir, is charged with vehicle and is available for the vehicle of the offense and failure of the path.

Rex Powell, 67, from Morganton, was identified as the person who was killed in the collision.

The wreck occurred on Thursday, May 1st, around 1:20 p.m. along the Bowman Avenue in Morganton.

Soldiers said Belcher tried to cross the Highway 181 from a stop sign and hit Powell's car, which collided and collected with a guardrail.

According to reports, Belcher was declared dead at the crime scene, while Belcher was taken to a hospital in a hospital with “minor injuries”.

Officials sometimes closed the road for about two hours, while the crews examined.
