Cannes plans for LECKS – World of role

A short update for Cannes Film Festival. We are only 11 days from the opening evening and the schedule begins to take shape. A preliminary schedule begins to lick and can be displayed below. The only ones that have not been confirmed 100% are Kelly Reichardt and Saeed Roustaee, but it looks like they are both examining during the last days of the festival.

May 14th: Schilinski, Loznitsa, McQuarrie
May 15th: Moll, Laxe
May 16: Aster, Herzi
May 17th: Ramsay, Linklater, Hayakawa
May 18th: Mendonça, W. Anderson
May 19: Ducournau, Saleh, S. Lee
May 20: Martone, Panahi, Zlotowski
May 21: Hermanus, Trier, Simón
May 22nd: Roustaee
May 23: Reichardt, Dardenne

As far as BI GANS is concerned, it is apparently booked on screening on May 22, but was still not announced by Cannes. Hopefully it went through Chinese censors and will actually play at the festival. The runtime for this film should take 2.5 hours.

Apart from BI GAN, everything that is still known is the section Cannes Classics, which will open on May 13 with a 4K recovery by Charlie Chaplin's “The Gold Rush”.
