NBA says Doncic was fouled, but it was not called too late in Lakers' game 4 against Minnesota

Referees missed the Luka Doncic of Los Angeles Lakers, who was still polluted for 33 seconds in game 4 of their playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, said the NBA on Monday.

The Lakers had dropped 114-113 in the game on Sunday when Doncic stumbled from Jaden McDaniels near Mid Court by Minnesotas Jaden McDaniels. Doncic held possession when he met the floor and called the Lakers a break to avoid an injury of 8 seconds.

That was one of two inappropriate fouls that were late on Sunday in a point playoff game. The other was New York Josh Hart Fouling Detroits Tim Hardaway Jr. with a 3-point attempt than the time in game 4 of this series expired. Hardaway got no free throws and the Knicks won this game 94-93, with the NBA said shortly after this game that Hardaway was actually fouled.

“McDaniels … appears in Doncics … path and initiates the illegal foot contact that makes it lose its balance,” said the NBA on Monday in its last 2-minute report about the Timberwolves Lakers game. The NBA publishes these reports a day after games, in which the lead is three points or less in the last two minutes of the fourth quarter and extension.

Doncic stopped it more directly. “I was certainly stumbled,” he said.

If the foul had been called, Doncic would have gone the chance to tie the game or give the Lakers the lead. Instead, Stahl Minnesota Lebron James' the following Inbounds Pass and Anthony Edwards made two free throws with a 10.9 second lead for a lead of 116-113.

This piece also lifted the wrestling of the Lakers, and James said that he put Edwards in his hand and what he should have been for sales. The NBA checked the game in real time and saw that James Edwards met on the wrist what it thought it was.

“The game happens all the time,” said James after the game. “Hand is part of the ball. She said that. I have the feeling that the hand was part of this ball.”

The Lakers' Austin Reaves missed what a 3 pointer could have been in the last game of the game, and Minnesota won by three.

The Knicks and Timberwolves went 3-1 lead after the victories on Sunday. Detroit is in New York on Tuesday for game 5 of this series, and the Lakers moderator Minnesota in game 5 of this series on Wednesday.
