Kernel Ai makes it dead to find and watch a film

Last year Youtuber and Apple -Enthusiast Nikias Molina published an app called Kernel. This app was mainly created to determine the streaming service in which certain television programs and films are hosted. I use this app as a ton as someone with six different streaming providers. If I ever had to find out where a film was, I would search it and it was 100% of the time right! I love how easy and elegant it was to use. The latest update now adds kernel AI, recommendations and more.

We live at a time when every company, brand and app throw the word AI into our throat. In my experience, these brands only add AI into their apps and services without a real direction or no other reason than to say that they have added AI. What I like about this implementation is that it serves a purpose and does it very well! They do not try to reinvent the bike here by helping them find the name of a film or a television show that is located on the top of their tongue, but cannot remember the name.

This is how it works:

  • Go to the search tab
  • Make sure that AI is switched on
  • Describe the film or TV show
  • The film name is displayed
  • Then tap to get information where you can stream and even go directly to the streaming service app.

I've been playing with this function for a week and it works just as it was intended, which is amazing!

One of my favorite aspects of this new update is the one-click streaming function. As soon as you have found your film, you can put it on and as long as you have the streaming service app on your phone and you are registered, you will play directly to the film and start, which reduces the number of steps that are necessary to see something on just one step.

Pricing and availability

The new Kernel update is available today! Either download it from the App Store or simply update your current app. Since this is based on KI -APIs and data is drawn in the data, there is a subscription service for Kernel AI. The plans are:

  • 0.99 USD per week
  • $ 1.99 per month
  • $ 15.99 per year

You know who you are when this is something you would see. For me it is, my wife and I love to watch films, but always forget the names. So we describe them and it appears and lets us know where to go to stream it. But let me know what you think. Is that something you would try? Let us discuss below!
