Supreme Court refuses an appeal against childcare service providers, which was convicted of the death of the baby

Rutland, Vt. (WCAX)-a former child supervisor who is convicted of a 6-month-old prison for a deadly dose of medicine.

Stacey Vaillancourt was sentenced to 3-10 years in prison last year after a jury found her guilty of Harper Rose Briar's death for manslaughter and childcare.

Vaillancourt's lawyers appealed and argued that the state's evidence had significant gaps and some of them were unfair and emotionally charged.

But Friday the Supreme Court of Vermont denied her appointment and said there was sufficient evidence to condemn them, and there were no problems with evidence or judgments.

In an explanation of WCAX news, Ian Sullivan, the lawyer of the state of Rutland County, said: “I hope that today's decision to everyone who loved the Harper during their too letters lives the closure and a sense of justice.”
