Chicago School Bus Crash lets 17 pupils to the hospital

A school bus with students from the Vorstachule collided on Friday morning in Mount Greenwood with an SUV and sent 17 students and both drivers to hospitals in the region.

The background story:

The crash occurred around 7:32 a.m. in the 3900 block of West 111th Street when the school bus was stopped in a west direction in a red light.

A 64-year-old man who drove an SUV tried to turn right in front of the bus, and the bus hit the passenger side of the SUV, the police said.

Six students and both drivers were brought to the Little Company of Mary Hospital, six students were brought to Christian Hospital, and five students were brought to the Holy Cross Hospital. It was reported that everyone is in a fair state.
