Seven killed in Femont County in fiery two-vehicles in the USA 20

An investigation is underway after an accident with two vehicles killed seven people and closed a large motorway by Fremont County, Idaho.

According to Idaho State Police, the soldiers on the Milepost 399 in the USA near Henry's Lake in Island Park were sent – about 15 miles from the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park – shortly before 7.15 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st, reported on the crash.

The investigators found that a Dodge -Ram pickup and a Mercedes -van collided and both broke out on the impact on flames. According to reports, the van reported a tour group of 14 people.

Seven people were killed, including six passengers in the van and the driver of the pickup. The medical resources of the air and soil resources reacted to the scene.

The dead of the deceased were brought to the Coroner's Office of the Fremont County, which after the notification of the next relatives published their names together with the cause and type of death.

The USA 20 were closed in both directions, while first aiders carried out an accident examination. The highway was reopened on Friday around 2 a.m.

ISP heads the investigation with the support of local and regional agencies. The cause of the crash remains examined.
