Los Angeles – The “Thunderbolts*” are heroes-a star!

The Avengers are not there in the latest Marvel film to save the world. So it is time for the antiheroes to assemble.

In a new episode of On The Red Carpet, the stars of the film, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and David Harbor, explain what makes this latest episode so unique in the superhero franchise.

“The characters are very real, they are not perfect and they could die at any moment,” said Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes. “And they were able to kill each other at any moment. They obviously have to deal with many ways to be assigned like trauma.”

“I think they are all desperate, they are so desperate,” said Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova. “They really cling to each other. Even like their combat styles, their argument.

Harbor, who plays Red Guardian, may have thought about describing the team best.

“We came up with 'traumatized and try',” he said. “T and T!”

The special “Thunderbolts*” episode from On The Red Carpet also includes interviews with the co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell and Geraldine Viswanathan, the director of the film, Jake Schreier, and the Oscar-nominated band, which summarized the score.

“Thunderbolts*” only opens in the cinemas on May 2.
